Extracting zip files Tutorial

This is quite a common question, how do you extract zip files? well the answer is it depends on what Windows version you have (yes sorry I only work with Windows) Windows 2000 and lower can use winzip, Windows XP has a built in extracter. Windows XP 1) Find the zip file, right click and select Extract all.. 2) A window will pop up as shown below, keep Clicking next and then a new window will appear with all of your files! as simple as that Windows 2000 and Lower 1) Download the WinZip evaluation here and install.  Make sure you select start with WinZip and Express setup 2) Find your zip file and drag it into WinZip, you will find some files will now appear in winzip go to actions > select all 3) Click on extract, then change the file location to whatever you like to extract them in a new folder just add the folder to the end eg C:\Documents and Settings\Char\My Documents\zip file 4) Click extract and there you go! go and find where you extracted them too.
