| Punky pixel tutorial |
| I learnt this ages ago, I don't use it much but
thats only because I don't really do this style layouts but it can look nice
on blends. I think its a really nice effect, this is what you end up
with 1) Open up photoshop with your image, I will use this one
2) Select all and copy....you will need this for later! Then go to Image > Mode > Indexed Color . . .
3) Put the settings like mine below and click ok
4) Go to mage > Mode > RGB Color
5) Press CTRL+V or Edit Paste to paste the original image onto a new layer. Then in the layer box with the top layer selected choose overlay in the dropdown box where it says normal. 6) Select the bottom layer and change the opacity to something like 60% or whatever you feel looks good! there we go a punky pixel affect! |
